As tires age, they are prone to failure.
Some auto & tire manufacturers recommend replacing tires at (6) years of age, even if the tire has never been on the road. Tire aging occurs due to degradation on the inside of the tire and is invisible to the human eye & is often referred to as the "invisible hazard."

The TIN# (Tire Identification Number) begins with the letters DOT.
It's important for you and Tirefax to know about your spare tire. Also, it's important that you know when you last replaced your spare tire. Spare tires are prone to degradation and should never be used as a replacement tire, but only in case of an emergency.
